Monday 30th June 2025.

Monday 30th.  A moderate S'ly brought in a hot airmass with a peak temperature of 30.8C recorded at Topcliffe.  Initially, thermal conditions were tricky with weak thermals and a relatively low cloudbase, but conditions improved as the day progressed, with peak average climb rates reaching around 4 kts and cloudbase rising to over 6,000' asl.  […] Read More...
