Wednesday 6th. The decaying occluded front had moved back westwards with the result, light rain and drizzle in the early hours and a low overcast that persisted all day, brought in on the light to moderate ESE'ly wind. Consequently, there was no flying.
Thursday 7th. Although the occluded front had disappeared from the synoptic charts, it was another non-flying day as although dry, the gloomy day was dominated by the low overcast that continued to feed in off the North Sea with the wind now a moderate E'ly.
