Wednesday 26th. A moderate to fresh E'ly blew on a day of sunny intervals that turned generally cloudier. Flying was restricted by the direction and strength of the wind with runways 20 and 06 used for take offs and 20, 02 and 06 used for landings, the launch total being 4, of which 1 was for a First Flight pupil. Some thermal activity led to one flight of > 30 minutes, this being by Andreas Rieder/Tony Kirby in K21 JVZ their 42 minutes benefitting from 3 thermal climbs of 500' 700' and 800'. Dave Campbell and the First Flight pupil had 24 minutes in JVZ and Chris O'Boyle/ Stephen Kelleher in K21 KLW had 23 minutes both using weak thermal to extend their flights. .
