Wednesday 10th. A light WSW'ly under generally cloudy skies meant benign conditions for the day's 5 First Flight pupils and those club members undergoing training. First off was the Falke for a 34 minute session of touch and goes followed by 14 ATs off runway 20 behind the Eurofox, Dual flights were in the majority in either one of the two K21s or the DG1000, Roger Taylor and John Dore amassing 6 flights between them. 3 solo flights were flown, including one by Rob Bottomley in his Discus BT that provided the longest glider flight of the day, 33 minutes, but whether this was due to a high tow or lift is an unknown. The other solo pilots were Andy Tyas who flew the Astir for a more representative of the day 17 minutes. while the remaining solo pilot was John Dore who successfully flew his first solo in K21 KLW, so congratulations John,
