Tuesday. 23rd.  The light to moderate N'ly flow continued, bringing in a few showers and variable amounts of cloud, with the result that only 6 ATs were flown from runway 02, with 4 of these after 1700 hrs by the Tuesday evening group.  A lack of  any significant lift meant tows to 2,000' QFE  yielded flight times of 10-15 minutes, while tows to 3,000' QFE extended flight times to the high teens.  Small areas of reduced sink were a feature of some of the early flights, while Toby Wilson/Steve Kirk's 19 minute flight in K21 JVZ around 1800 hrs benefited from a weak thermal that had them maintain1100-1200' QFE for a few minutes.
