Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th November 2025

Thursday 27th.  A moderate to moderate to moderate to fresh S'ly that veered into the SW was accompanied by low cloud, so there was no flying.

Friday 28th.  A sunny start to the day as a moderate S'ly blew,  saw 3 winch launches off runway 20 in K21 KLW, the first 2 finding some lift in front of the White Horse ridge giving operating heights of 500-900' QFE, and flight times of 27 to 33 minutes for first, Dave McKinney/Mark James and then James Shaw/Henry Jiang.  Tim Stanley than had a short flight solo in KLW following a low launch before flying stopped as a band of heavy rain approached, with 4.8  mm falling between 1100-1200 hrs and the temperature falling by 5C.  The wind also veered into the SW and a further launch off runway 24 as the skies cleared saw Dave/Henry have 12 minutes soaring the home bowl, this being the last flight of the day.

Saturday 29th.  A depression tracking across the UK led to a day of low cloud and rain, heavy at times, with 20.6 mm being recorded locally from noon to midnight, so there was no flying.
