Sunday 7th. A moderate to moderate to fresh SSW'ly blew all day, with mid 30 kt gusts, and while the morning was dry, the afternoon brought some heavy showers as troughs crossed the area. The latter only added to the waterlogged state of the airfield, so there was no flying.
Monday 8th. Short periods of rain during the day as weak warm and cold fronts moved north over the UK meant the airfield remained waterlogged and unusable, the wind being light to moderate from the SSE.
