Saturday 23th,  The depression centred to the N of Scotland had moved closer, the  W'ly wind at Sutton increasing to fresh, with 30-40 kt gusts so, in spite of the sunny intervals, there was no flying.

Sunday 24th.  The depression had moved off the east, veering the moderate to fresh wind into the NW, a direction and strength that mean no flying.

Monday 25th.  The filling depression to  the NE of the UK was replaced by one centred over Ireland, its warm front bringing low cloud and rain, so there was no flying.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
