Monday 10th to Thursday 13th. The blocking area of high pressure to the NE of the UK lived up to its name, preventing any Atlantic systems from reaching the UK and persistently feeding in a low overcast off the North Sea from the ENE/NE, the cloud being thick enough at times to produce some light rain/ drizzle. So flying awaits a change in the synoptic situation.
