Monday 30th. Although the day was bright with generally high cloud, the moderate to fresh WSW'ly proved to be too strong and gusty for flying to continue after John Carter/Ian McFarlane had a winch launched, 13 minute, weather check flight in K21 KLW. So that concluded flying at Sutton for 2024 as a forecast of strong winds, low cloud and heavy rain for Tuesday 31st meant it was scrubbed as a flying day.
