Monday 17th.  An Atlantic low brought low cloud and mainly light rain and drizzle at times during the day, as a light ESE'ly soon veered into the SSE and slowly increased to light to moderate.  Flying was confined to a single sortie, with Jamie Quartermaine taking the Falke for a 8 minute flight, taking off on runway 24 and landing on 20, the cloud restricting his height to 1,000' QFE.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
