Monday 10th to Tuesday 11th November 2025

Monday 10th. Overnight rain cleared leaving a sunny morning and clear, blue skies, although these soon filled with cloud presaging the arrival of more rain around 4pm. Flying commenced just after 1100 hrs and came to a stop just before 1400 hrs with 7 ATs off runway 20 into a moderate SSE'ly wind, K21 KLW being the sole glider used. The majority of the launches were low tows for circuit practice, but Andrew Bedford and Mark James both took higher tows and had longer flights, Andrew having 25 minutes off a 2,500' tow and Mark 15 minutes off a 2,000' tow. Andrew also provided the following photo.

Tuesday 11th. Fronts crossing the country from a depression centred to the SW of the UK brought low cloud, and periods of rain, the SSE/S'ly wind steadily increasing from moderate to moderate to fresh so there was no flying.
