Friday 25th. A weakening cold front made slow progress SE'wards, bringing a day of overcast skies, occasional light drizzle and a light to moderate W'ly wind. The lack of any usable lift and a predominance of low tows for circuit practice, meant that flight times from the 15 ATs off runway 24 were typically 8-15 minutes, with landings occasionally on runways 20 and 02. The only flight to exceed 20 minutes was by Andreas Rieder/Avhusta Rusina, their 21 minutes in K21 KLW resulting from a 2,500' tow and a period of reduced sink in front of the home bowl shortly before landing.
