Wednesday 10th. A light to moderate W'ly blew all day, so operations were off runway 24 with 13 ATs flown. The day provided mainly thermal soaring, with 6 flights in excess of 30 minutes of which 2 were over an hour, with the flying in either K21 JVZ or the DG1000 plus 2 flights in the Falke. Cloud base rose to around 4,500' asl with peak average thermal strengths around 2,5 kt, with both flights of > an hour being in the DG1000. Andreas Rieder/Amam Tam had !:07 of local soaring climbing to a peak altitude of 4,400' asl, while Polly/Paul Whitehead had 1:03 also locally soared with their peak altitude being 4,100' asl. Twp flights in JVZ exceeded 40 minutes, with Andreas/ Tor Tavener having 44 minutes and James Shaw/Avhusta Risina, 41 minutes.
