Tuesday 16th. A light N'ly that veered into the SSW during the afternoon provided conditions for winching off runway 02, with 13 launches completed, 3 in Astir DPO and 10 in K21 KLW. The 1,000' to 1,200' launches and a general absence of lift, meant the majority of flights were in the 4-5 minute range, but John Carter/Dave McKinney and then Dave McKinney/Duncan Pask, both in K21 KLW, extended the day's flight times first to 7 and then to 11 minutes, Dave/Duncan's 11 minutes being aided by some reduced sink while flying the home bowl off the last flight of the day.
