Tuesday 5th.   An occluded front draped along the UK's east coast slowly moved east, so the overnight cloud and light rain/drizzle was replaced by drier conditions and eventually brighter skies, allowing flying to get underway around 1430 hrs as the light to moderate SSE'ly slowly backed into the ESE and declined to light.  Guy Harland/Neil Amos took 3 ATs in K21 JVZ off runway 20, the first to 2,000' QFE and the next 2 to 1100' QFE, with flight times of to 8-13 minutes, a lack of other trade meaning flying terminated around 1515 hrs.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
