Friday 10th. Overnight snow left a good covering on the airfield and although the skies cleared around 1000 hrs it was not possible to fly due to the state of the airfield.
Saturday 11th. An overnight very sharp frost meant the snow on the airfield was slow to melt, even though the day was sunny for its early part, cloud increasing from around 1300 hrs and slowly thickening and lowering, the wind being a light to moderate S that slowly backed into the SSE. The state of the airfield ruled out any chance of flying.
