Wednesday 2nd. A moderate and at times moderate to fresh ESE'ly blew, bringing in a low overcast that produced bits and pieces of rain and drizzle at times, so there was no flying.
Thursday 3rd. The overcast conditions again prevailed with the SE'ly wind steadily declining from moderate to light over the course of the day and veering into the S as the light faded. The cloud base over the first half of the day was not conducive to glider flying but did allow the Falke had 2 sorties, one for circuit practice while the second was an O/R to just north of York.
Friday 4th. The occluded front that had brought the lowering overcast and eventually rain on Thursday, had stalled over the east of the UK, so that it was a non-flying day at Sutton, the 24 hour rain total being 14 mm as a light to moderate NNW'ly blew.
