Thursday 31st. The light to moderate WNW'ly slowly increased to moderate during the day, but a day of sunny intervals led to 5 flights of over 30 minutes including one over an hour from the day's 7 ATs off runway 24, four of which were for First Flight pupils. The > an hour flight was by Dean Crosby in his LS10t, his 2:01 being mainly spent to the NE of site operating between 2,500' - 3,500' asl in moderate thermals and getting to just beyond Guisborough W via Tontine and Carlton Bank. The next longest flight saw James Prosser in his Ventus 2ct have 43 minutes of local soaring, while Bob Calvert took all 4 First Flight pupils for flights ranging from 29-34 minutes.
