Thursday 1st. A disturbance brought rain from 0500 to 1000 hrs with a legacy of low cloud that delayed the start of flying until around 1230 hrs, with 6 launches off runway 24 thereafter, including 2 for First Flight pupils. With no available lift to extend flight times, the 2 First Flight pupils had the longest flights of the day, 19 and 20 minutes, courtesy of their 2,500' QFE tows with P1 Dave Campbell in K21 JVZ.
