Thursday 16th to Friday 17th October 2025

Thursday 16th.  With little change in the synoptic situation, it was another day with a thick sheet of stratocumulus covering the sky as a light, mainly W'ly, wind blew.  Release heights were limited to 1,600' QFE by the overcast with the result that flight times didn't exceed 10 minutes from the 3 flights in K21 KLW and Martin Newbery's flight in his Ventus ct.

Friday 17th.   Another day of anticyclonic gloom, with a thick overcast hiding the sun and a light breeze blowing from the N'ly segment of the compass.  The gloom extended to flying opportunities with the hangar doors remaining firmly shut.
