Saturday 24th. The start of flying was delayed until early afternoon by low cloud, but a weather check in K21 KLW by Bruce Grain/James Horton led to 9 further winch launches off runway 24 resulting in 1 flight of over an hour and 4 of > 30 minutes but < 60 minutes. Bob Calvert in his Discus 2ct had 1:12 hill soaring the main W'ly and forward ridges, while Jamie Quartermaine/Steve Whalley in KLW had 58 minutes, flying the main W'ly ridge as far north as High Paradise Farm at 750-950' QFE, but with a low point of 350' QFE. The other >30 minute flights all made use of weak wave lift just upwind of the main bowl, John Carter solo in K21 JVZ climbing to 1,050' QFE after having a 200' low point on a hill soaring O/R to High Paradise Farm, Jamie Quartermaine/James Horton in KLW climbing to 1,500' QFE and Tony Drury/John Marsh in JVZ climbing to 1,900' QFE.
Sunday 25th. Low cloud and rain meant there was no flying.
Monday 26th. Cloudy skies and frequent showers resulted in no flying.
Tuesday 27th The day's flying was limited to 4 ATs with James Shaw/Erin Wray having and hour in K21 KLW off the first flight of the day with the 3 subsequent flights all having durations of 20 minutes or less the weather being cloudy with bits and pieces of light rain/drizzle at times. as a light W'ly blew.
Wednesday 28th, A light W'ly blew all day under cloudy skies with occasional drizzle. Flying was limited to 6 ATs off runway 24, but the weather conditions were not conducive to soaring, with Dave Campbell/Dan Spalding's 26 minutes in K21 JVZ off a 2,700' tow being the best of the day.
Thursday 29th. A moderate to moderate to fresh at times SW'ly blew all day with occasional drizzle and overcast skies, the cloud base being too low to allow any flying to take place.
