Monday 1st. A light to moderate W'ly blew, initially under sunny skies, while an airfield inspection revealed the possibility of operation off only a limited area of runway 24, due to waterlogging of much of the rest of the airfield. In the event, there was little demand and no flying, with the skies clouding over during the afternoon and heavy rain arriving during the late evening as another Atlantic front crossed the country, the wind backing into the SSE.
