Saturday 13th.  A day of thin high cloud and a moderate S'ly that slowly veered into the SSW and increased to moderate to fresh, saw 12 ATs off runway 20, including 2 for First Flight pupils  and a single Falke flight, with hill lift to encourage pilots and generate 6 flights of 30 minutes or more.  Les Rayment/Duncan Pask flying in K21 KLW were the first to get to 30 minutes, their flight, starting with a 3,000' tow, being followed by a slow descent. Clive Swain/Mark James in K21 JVZ went somewhat better, their 47 minutes included a 200' climb post release some 3 km to the SW of site, before they retreated to the home bowl, maintaining around 1,300' QFE with a couple of extensions to the next bowl beyond Lake Gormire.  Toby Wilson then flew Astir DPO for 45 minutes off a 1,000' tow, soaring the home bowl at 600-1,100' QFE but climbing to 1,300' QFE just before his return to land.  The other soaring pilots were Sarah Stubbs/Andy Wilson in the DG1000, who maintained their release height of 2,100' QFE for a while, getting back to 1,900' QFE towards the end of their 37 minute flight, Les Rayment/Duncan Pask with  41 minutes in KLW, having  a 200' climb post release near Boltby and then soaring the home bowl at around 1,500' QFE and finally Clive Swain/Chara Triantafyllidou, whose 32 minutes included a slow climb from 1,600' to 1,900' QFE over Lake Gormire.

Sunday 14th. A day of low cloud forming on the hills as moderate to moderate to fresh S'ly blew meant their was no flying.

Monday 15th.  A slow moving Atlantic front that had be stuck to the north of site slipped southwards bringing a day of low cloud and rain, with 23.1 mmm recorded locally, so  there was no flying.
