Thursday 11th.  Another quiet day from a gliding perspective as a light to moderate SW'ly slowly backed into the SSE, this change being accompanied by a steady increase in cloudiness.  11 ATs behind the Eurofox were flown off runway 20, including one by Rob Bottomley in his Discus BT, while 4 flights were with First Flight pupils.  Lift was noticeable by its absence and this was reflected in flight times which varied from 11 to 19 minutes, the latter being flown by Guy Hartland and Nick Northeast in K21 KLW and by Nigel Burke and one of the day's First Flight pupils in K21 JVZ.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
