Friday 22nd.  A moderate to fresh WNW veered into the NNE and became light over the course of the flying day, as a ridge of high pressure crossed the country bringing sunny periods.  An AT off runway 24 by Bruce Grain and Andrew Bedford in K21 KLW around 1130 hrs, this lasting for 22 minutes,  was the only flight of the day.  Consequently,  I assume it was a case of it being better to be down here wishing I was up there rather than a case of being up  there wishing I was down here.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
