Tuesday 31st.  The high pressure remained in place and continued to feed in a low overcast from the North Sea, thick enough to give drizzle at times so  there was no flying.

Wednesday 1st September.  Subtle variations in a relatively static synoptic situation led to a slight improvement in the weather mid afternoon allowing two Falke flights to take place.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
