Saturday 31st.  Another day of low cloud and rain meant there was no flying.

Sunday 1st.  A moderate NNE'ly resulted in 13 ATs off runway 10, but a lack of any significant soaring opportunities led to only 4 flights getting to 30 minutes or more.  John Marsh and Tony Drury led the way with 34 minutes in K21 KLW, followed by 3 flights of 30 minutes each.  The first of these was by Dave Thompson in the DG303, followed by Tim Stanley flying K21 JVZ solo and finally, off the last flight of the day, Brian Wise gave the last of the day's 6 First Flight pupils 30 minutes in KLW.

Monday 2nd.  The wind had now become a light to moderate S'ly with operations starting off runway 20 around 1015 hrs.  16 ATs were flown but after an promising start weatherwise, overdevelopment over the local area limited soaring flights to 5, two of these by private owners, Rob Bailey in his ASG29 and Duncan Pask in his LS10.  Duncan stayed local with a flight of 1:24 but Rob flew a 228 km task with TP's close to Spurn Point and Masham and recorded the highest altitude of the day, 5,300' asl.   Spurn Point was Rob's  declared TP, but sea air meant it couldn't be reached.  Back at site, Alan Beaumont had a pleasant 53 minutes flying the DG500 solo, with the Ron Beezer/J Maxted combination having 3 flights in K21 KLW, the first two of which had durations of 35 and 47 minutes.
