Saturday 14th.   A day of frequent, squally, snow showers brought in on a moderate to fresh WSW'ly wind restricted flying to 4 winch launches off runway 24, none of the resulting flights lasting very long. John Tayler and Junior member Alex Altman recorded the longest flight of the day, 28 minutes in K21 KLW off the last flight of the day, with John Marsh and David Thompson having 26 minutes in K21 JVZ off the penultimate one.   Earlier, Steve Thompson flew with Steve Ogden and John Carter with John Tayler before the weather caused a break in flying for a couple of hours.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
