A further Addendum to Tuesday 11th April 2017

Tuesday 11th.  In my Blog for Tuesday, 11th,  while correctly recording that David Latimer had visited Boroughbridge and Barnard Castle in his Ventus, the information to  hand did not include the fact that after repeatedly trying and failing to make much progress to the NW of Barnard Castle on an attempted 750 + km wave flight , David then visited Kendal and after climbing to 11,100' asl, turned Carlton Bank before returning to Sutton, covering 315 kms, the first Sutton based 300 km flight of the year.  So congratulations to David.

This blog describes a snippet of life at the Yorkshire Gliding Club. Why not take a flight and try it yourself, or we can teach you to fly as a full club member.
